My husband and I were married on October 15th, 2011 (Sweetest Day). We had our wedding and our reception on a historic farm in Aurora, IN called Veraestau. Our wedding took place outside, on the front steps of the 200 year-old farmhouse and the reception took place in the formal dining room. I have had many people ask me how I decorated and how I made the decorations, so I thought that I would post some photos on here for those of you who are planning rustic weddings. Since our wedding took place in the Fall season, I used a lot of Mums, Sunflowers, Wheat, Cattails, Pumpkins and Ghourds. I'm also madly in love with the artistic use of Mason canning jars. I made all of the centerpieces and all of the bouquets, including my own. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,
but do not have love, I gain nothing." -Corinthians
