What shoes should I wear??...

I'm planning on having my wedding on the beach in Florida, and I would love to wear heels. But I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to do so because of the sand.. Any suggestions??

I hate wearing shoes in the sand.  I think you could maybe get away with some kind of platform or wedge sandal, but heels will definitely sink in.

I agree with PP, the heels will definitely sink in. Maybe, if you really wanted, you could try the smaller, kitten heels? That may be an alternative if you want to wear heels. 

Maybe you could even try walking in them beforehand? Like a pratice run!

Barefoot with really nice foot jewelry seems like the way to go.

I would agree with the other ladies. Heels in the sand sounds like a nightmare... I wouldn't want to have to worry about walking without stumbling during my walk down the aisle... there are cute wedges or sandals out there though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm thinking about either wearing sandals or just going barefoot.

I think it's adorable when beach brides go barefoot.
If you are doing a reception on hard floor you could have reception heels!
