Hello!  I am considering renting a farmhouse and a tent for ceremony/reception.  Any recommendations?  Has anyone been down this route?

i am doing the same thing and found my location thru vrbo.com. you can also check homeaway.com and flipkey. i emailed quite a few rental owners thru vrbo and all of them got back to me within hours, even if they didnt allow weddings on their properties. its much easier to work with a private owner as opposed to a "wedding venue" because there arent near as many rules, plus you can rent the property for a few days which gives you plenty of time to set up and prepare!
