Need some ideas for vintage ceramony with a vegas style reception

Im getting married outside on Aug 6th 2011 at my fiances grampas estate and my vision is a low key vintage ceramony with a crazy loud party reception vegas themed. Does this sound crazy? Im a very decrative person and we are goin to vegas for our honey moon so I thought it fit. Tell me what ya think..good and bad. Thank you!

I agree with PP.  And along the lines of David Tutera, he did actually do a Vegas-themed wedding on an episode of My Fair Wedding.  You may want to watch it for inspiration.  As long as you approach this with an editing eye and don't go too over-the-top, I think you could make it tremendous rather than tacky.  You may also want to try the reception board for ideas and maybe the retro & vintage board for ceremony ideas.  GL!
