We're getting married in the courtyard of our venue and then walking inside for the reception. The venue has tables and 125 chivari chairs. The courtyard is just an open space with no seating. Someone I know was recently married here and set the provided chairs up in the courtyard. After the ceremony the guests carried their chair into the reception with them to the table. I didn't attend the wedding, therefore I don't know how their guests felt about the situation. I know someone who attended this wedding and they said it was fine.. and some of the guys grabbed more than one chair. We don't expect 125 guests.. approximately half. I just got the price from a local rental company for 50 of the cheapest chairs (obviously not chivari) and with delivery and all total is $225. Our ceremony is very short, but we won't let our guests just stand. What do you think?
