How to decorate reception tent - backyard BBQ

I am getting married in my backyard in April in the middle of the afternoon.  We are getting a 20 X 30 tent.  I am definitely doing southern style BBQ (brisket, pork, mac & cheese, etc)  i know I want my tables to be covered in red checkered and use mason jars with white/yellow daisies.  I am struggling with the inside of the tent looking like a gigantic see of white.  Any affordable ideas to dress up the tent besides toole, modern lantern balls, or christmas lights?  I saw an idea of stringing bandanas across that looked interesting.

My location is incorrect in my bio. I live in NC.  No way would I try outdoor in NJ in April.

Thanks for another idea.  I may try making a few to first see how diffiult they are to make.  The MS site had tons of comments about tricks to help make them.

You can help me think of decorations for my party this summer. I just want to have a garden party but Cory is calling it "Anna's wedding - take 2" because i'm planning just as much for it as I did for our wedding.  Here's the inspiration board I made:

Have you ever thought about possibly using benches in the tent.  It would be a different look, that may work.
