Retro and Vintage Weddings

AW something old!

My Grandma has this bracelet I never knew about. She wore it on her wedding day(in her Mom's kitchen, no less), and now I'm going to wear it on mine! It belonged to my Great-Great-Grandmother! She has no idea where she got it, but it's obviously pretty old. Both my GGrandmother and GGGrandmother have passed. It's probably worth nothing monetarily, but I LOVE it, if for nothing else but the history it has. I'm super excited, I had no idea we had any heirlooms like this in our family. My Grandma wants to have it re-dipped in gold, but I'm not sure, I'm worried it will lose some it's vintage-ness and authenticity. What do you ladies think?

The thing dangling from it is actually something you're supposed to put perfume in, so you can dab it on your wrists, I suppose. I guess it was pretty common back then?
