Wording Invite Envelope

Ladies:I'm in the process of making the labels for my invites & I have a question. If a couple lives together but they're not married, will I address it to just one person or both? For example: Mr. John Smith & Ms. Victoria LopezOR just Mr. John Smith & then inside state that there is 2 seats reserved.Also, for married couples is it Mr. and Mrs. John Smith OR Mr. and Mrs. Smith?THANK YOU LADIES*

DEFINITELY put both guests names on the envelope! Also I think the proper thing is to put Mr. & Mrs. John Smith.
