Reception Sites (Bring your own Caterer)

Can anybody help me with a nice site that will allow you to bring your own caterer? The guest list is for about 250 people.  Thanks in advance!!

The Middleburg Hts. Rec. Center allows you bring your own caterer and alcohol. They can hold up to 270, IIRC. It's a really nice space, too! The Lake Erie Nature Center in Bay Village lets you bring your own caterer, as does Gemini Center in Fairview Park. Both can hold the size group you have. Also, check out the Don Umerley Civic Center in Rocky River, though I'm not sure of their capacity offhand. Same goes for the Cuyahoga County Courthouse downtown.

Do you already have a caterer in mind that you want to use? If not, and you're looking to save money, be sure to also price out halls that may require you to use their caterer, but allow you supply your own alcohol. A site that allows you to bring your own caterer isn't necessarily going to cost less than one that offers in-house food catering. There are some halls on the west/southwest side where you must use their caterer, but can BYOB and the pp rate ranges between $20-35/pp (without alcohol factored in).

    Good luck!

The website above is a great resource when looking for halls that allow outside catering. It makes a good starting point!
