Just wanted to pass along information about the Brides Against Breast Cancer wedding dress sale going on Friday & Saturday in Eastlake. From reading about the sale, I've learned they usually have about 1200 dresses, organized by size priced between $200 and $800 (plus couture gowns for more $, at discount). The dresses are donated by designers, retailers, and a few are from brides (once worn). 100% of the proceeds go to the Making Memories Foundation, which is kind of like "Make a Wish" except that all of the wishes granted are for women with stage 4 breast cancer. Last- 100% of your donation (price of dress) is tax deductible! If you want to go to the first two hours "power hour" the donation is normally $20, or it's $10 if you go to the link below. After power hour(s), admission is free!
