Unique Reception Venue NEOhio?

We'll be one of the last to marry out of a huge group of friends/family members. The typical hall and hotel venues have been done before. Any suggestions for northeast Ohio venues with a twist? Also does anyone have any information on Italian Halls in the area? We have not set a date and are pretty flexible. We'd like to be married within the next 6 to 8 months so that my 92 year old Gramma hopefully can walk me down the aisle. Any suggestions, Cleveland?

How big of a wedding (# guests) are you putting together? Your chances of finding a unique venue are higher if your guest list is on the small side.

You might check out such places as: the Old Town Hall in Strongsville (max 75), Cleveland Metroparks Chalet (where the tobaggan chutes are, Strongsville), Nicholson House in Lakewood (max 125), Lake Erie Nature & Science Center in Bay Village, the Rainforest at Cleveland metroparks zoo (or any other rentals at the zoo), Lockkeepers in Valley View (max 120, I think), the new Aquarium downtown, House of Blues, Rock Hall of Fame, Browns stadium, Glidden House (max 60) B&B, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, any of the Playhouse Square theaters, any wineries in the area (Ferrante, Thorncreek, Sarah's Vineyard, etc), Great Hall at Happy Days visitor center in the CVNP, the Lodge at Geneva, Mooreland Mansion in Kirtland...

That should help get you started. :)

If you're willing to travel a bit, Stan Hywet Hall is great, or even further south, the villas at Gervasi vineyard are spectacular!
http://www.gervasivineyard.com/ Lots of old world charm.

The chapel at Glenmoor County Club is also stunning: https://www.memberstatements.com/tour/tours.cfm?tourid=6232

    Good luck!

I would check out Greystone hall in Akron, we're getting married there in march and it's literallly breath taking...

Stan Hywet was booked the month we wanted to get married.

    It would have been amazing.

    Look into there.

Also I suggest Maple Side Farms
