Help make a baseball/softball themed wedding not so corny!

My FI and I met while playing softball. I got a single and he hit on me at first base. The rest is history!

I want to incorporate this into our wedding, invitations, save-the-dates, but I can't figure out how. Any ideas? I'm trying to think of baseball themed save-the-dates that are small and deliverable... or even just a theme for a card. Also, the favors could play off of this idea.

I am also having a baseball wedding theme! My fiance and I love baseball and met while we working at Chili's and chatted about baseball at the host stand. 
I've been doing a lot of online searching which is where I've gotten most of my ideas from.  I found these baseball card save the dates which are awesome!

How exciting this all is. These are all very cute ideas! Thank you for sharing. Those rally towels are hilarious... I can only imagine my guests swinging those around as I walk down the aisle at the church!

On another post, someone had the idea that instead of a guest book, have the guests sign two baseball bats to hang in the house as decorations!

If you look a couple posts down from yours, you'll see a picture of the rally towels we had made for our reception.  We want people to wave them as we are introduced.
