    A friend of mine runs "Hummingbird Catering" -> http://www.beetitcatering.com/

    I have had her food, and I think it's pretty great. She specializes in small bites, but I think she could do a more traditional catering type thing if that's what you're looking for.

    They're not in the SFV, but I've heard tons of great things about Command Performance: http://www.cpcatering.com/main/

    They're based in Moorpark, so not far. And they're the preferred caterer for a ton of the wedding venues out in the Agoura/Simi/Camarillo areas.

    Also, I use Merlin's for some of the parties I throw: http://www.merlins-kitchen.com/home

    They do a lot of brunches, lunches, dinners, bar mitvahs, weddings, etc. Patty is great to work with and very well priced IMO. She can do just about anything. They're in Thousand Oaks, so again, not far from SFV.
