I have had my ring about a month now. It's from Shane, Co so a reputable jeweler. I had it resized shortly after I got it, and I think they bent it... it's 14k white gold...when I look straight on it looks off-set... could I have done this also? I am very careful and don't wear it when I could smash it into something or get it damaged... it just looks offset and because it's a cathedral setting I notice it a lot when looking down at it.
Is 14k gold really that easily bent????? It looks also like the prong on the cathedral setting is pushed in so I am wondering if they did this when re-sizing it? I think I would have noticed if I had smashed it into something?
