So, as a lot of others on this thread, we are recently engaged and are looking at an August/September 2012 wedding, date is not 100% yet since we are waiting to hear from the venue we want. We are a hurry up and get it done kind of couple, and already have a large part planned. We know where we want the venue, who will cater, photographer, and entertainment. But other than that, where do we start? When do we plan to meet with our venues?
Also, WE are throwing our own engagement party, i know a lot of people are against that, but honestly, i can't think of 1 couple that we know that didn't throw their own.
Pretty much it's overwhelming, and i have already spent many hours on theknot doing research and just reading, a lot of things i didn't think would be involved or required.
Any little steps and help along the way would be appreciated, thanks!
