    Congratulations to you !!  My fiance and I too have been together 7 years and we decided together and asked eachother to marry one another in the beginning of Feb. 2012. 

     We are half way done and it has been a complete joy planning, our date is

     October 11, 2012.  

    My only suggestion is that if you are not an off the rack wedding dress size that you get your theme/what type of wedding you what narrowed done so you can order the dress before then end on April.

    8 months is plenty of time. One of my bm;s sister got married last December, with ony 4 months of planning. I have not booked anything yet. except for the dj (FI's cousin) and my florist...I have about 8 months to go.
