My mom and dad got married because she became pregnant with me. My mom was 19 and my dad was 20 and neither were really prepared to have a baby or be married to each other so two years later they split. She kept her wedding band to give to me one day. She gave the band to me last weekend when my fiance proposed to me. She told me that the band was a symbol of how much her and my dad loved me to get married to each other.
I want to do something really special with the band. I already have a neclace with mine and my FI's initials that I don't really want to replace. The only other option I can think of is to get the ring stretched (it just is too small) so that I can wear it with my engagement ring or on my ring finger on the right hand.
Do any of you have any other ideas you wouldn't mind sharing with me?
