Scratches on Engagement Ring?

Is it normal to have some scratches on your engagement ring band (white gold) after a while?

    Definitely normal.  If your FI bought the insurance plan or whatever was offered with the ring then it should be free for a lifetime.  My FI didn't (he doesn't believe in insurance for anything) but they still let me buy it afterward.  Totally worth it!.  It covers everything from stones falling out (even the big one) to free rhodium/dipping for a lifetime!
