How would you have 3 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen?

I'm not sure if I want one girl to walk with two guys or one guy to walk by himself....any advice? Did any of you have the same issue?

  • I'm having 6 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen and the maid of honor is going to be escorted by 2 gm.

  • Having one walk with 2 guys could be cute, one on either side. Or he can easily walk by himself. Really, there's no rule that any of them have to be paired up at all. My MOH is walking down the aisle with our "Best Woman" so anything goes. No one is going to make a fuss of how everyone walks.
  • I am having uneven numbers as well (5 ladies, 3 men), and I am probably just going to have the guys waiting at the end of the aisle, FI is going to walk his grandmother down the aisle and meet me at the "altar" and then all the bridesmaids will walk down alone during the processional before me

  • just have your MOH or your attendant {the bridesmaid standing furthest from you} escorted In/out by two grooms men. Trust me, everyone will be so focused on you and your hubby that they will not notice or even care really that you do not have the same number of maids and men =)
  • I am glad that other people are doing this! I am having my two sisters as my bridesmaid. And, my fiance is having his three brothers as his groomsmen. The uneven numbers bothered me at first, but it's good to see that other people are doing the same thing! I think that I am just going to have everyone walk by themselves...only it might be a little weird to have one brother walk by himself. Let me know what you decide!
  • I agree with MelG exactly!

  • I agree with MelGO6, have the best man wait with the groom:) I'm definitely going to use this if I end up with an uneven number :)
