Total AW post!
But I'm not sure I've been more excited in a long time -- today my thesis committee agreed to let me graduate! We have set a "defense date" of November 22nd.
I'm sure the other former grad students on the board know what a good feeling this is. You work for years on some research and you never really know how you are doing.
Its like you dont know how it went until you look back and see that it is over!
Phew.
Once I defend, I go back for my last 18 months of Med School. And THEN i can finally move back to the east coast (im in utah) and be near my FI (will be a husband by then!!)
Huge relief.
