Brownies and other sweet stuff

Hallo Girls...
just made a batch of brownies. My Mother is a college professor and every year, as far back as I can remember, she would being backing during finals time. I seems to have picked up this habit.

 Does anyone else begin to start cooking during finals time? or do you have any other things you do during finals to get you through? or yummy recipies to share?lol

I  generally end up making 12-14 layer a German cake with fudge icing between each layer and all over it all made from scratch of course my great grandmother's recipe 
it is so rich and so good... have to reserve it for special occasions because it can be a little time consuming

it is actually not very tall. 

each layer is super thin taking only ten minutes to back each layer.
