Reception Sites - Akron

Does anyone know of any nice reception sites that will accomated 250-300 guests? We're getting married in downtown Akron and would like somewhere that's less than 20 minutes from downtown.

    just to name a few!

     A GREAT Place would be Quaker Square, because then your guests will be able to walk right up to their hotel rooms!  I have had a huge NY Party there for 3 years now and it can fit 400!

    Quaker square is pretty nice (we almost chose them for our reception) but we going with Lake Forest CC in Hudson- it is so gorgeous and can accomdate large groups..we only have 150 though so I am not sure. The Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls is grogeous and can hold large groups. I got the Akron Wedding magazine (at borders) and they have a great overview of venues! good luck!!!

    Highly, highly, highly recommend Guy's Party Center.  Great food, easy parking, affordable rates, and a beautiful place!
