Well you know what, I know just the place!

I saw your idea for your cake and fell in love with it and wanted the same thing, so... I went all around looking for it, if you go to Joanns in Ontario, its a HUGE store in the ribbon by the yard section they ihave this in about 3/4" to 1.5" ribbon, It is ment to be an iron on thing and it is pricy, $19.99/ yard. Now that is for the crystal looking, if you want the square rhinestones they do have that too, it is more expensive yet if that is what you want, they have it. I went there about 2 weeks ago and bought enough for my cake and flowers.
