I don't want anything kinky--I mean publicly-known personality quirks or hobbies, skills, or some unusual feature of their life.
I was thinking about this because I keep having to explain to people that my FI doesn't drive. Never has, never will. Not for medical issues, he just doesn't.
In Europe that's not as strange as it is here. But a lot of Americans I say this to cannot conceive of how you can survive in this culture without that. And there are real consequences--for commuting situations, for example. Luckily I live on a bus route and we have decent public transport. But some places it would be unworkable.
