My fiancee and I are starting to look at wedding locales. My parents are contributing, and are asking/pushing for it to be held in Gainesville, FL (where they live, and where I went to college, I'm now in Tallahassee). We went to see them to hash out some preliminary issues last weekend, and drove by the baughman center and haile plantation. I'd also gathered a bit of info on the Thomas Center and UF Hilton. Has anyone had their wedding in Gainesville and used one of these locations for their reception? Any recommendations for or against these locations or others? Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
