Need to find a reception venue, that is near downtown phoenix, and allows you to bring your own caterer and liquor!!

Arizona Historical Society at Papago Park (near the zoo) lets you bring in own catering/alcohol and was one of the more affordable sites I could find in my search. Here's their website for more info: http://arizonahistoricalsociety.org/facility_rental/wedding_packages.asp

It's not downtown Phoenix - it's in Gilbert - but check out Val Vista Lakes. That's where we are getting married and doing our reception. You bring in your own caterer and liquor, just hire a licensed bartender. They're not expensive and the place is beautiful.
