Catering under $1000 for 75 people?

Is this possible?  I still have not found a venue- am still holding my breath looking for an all inclusive that I can afford (budget is $5000), but if I have to piece it all together myself is it possible to have it catered for under $1000?  Please let me know if you know of a company where this would be possible.  Also, have you used them?  What was your experience?

Thanks!

That would be about $13.00 per person (is that suppose to include the tax/tip/service fees?) You may want to consider having a late wedding and then have a dessert or heavy appetizer reception. Having a Friday night or Sunday wedding might also cut costs. Some places will require you to purchase a minimum amount.

I don't know anything about the caterers, but in my research they seem to have meals in your price range.
    Hope this helps.
  • We used Waldo's BBQ and they were awesome.  The pricing was about 10/pp for dinner (including plates, silverware and soda/water) so it should be right in your price range.  We added some appitizers too so I think we ended up around 13/pp.
