Any recommendations for an outdoor wedding in suburbs of Chicagoland???

I want to have an outdoor ceremony and reception with a rustic feel.  Does any one have any good recommendations?? Nothing too expensive please!! We are willing to travel a few hours as well.  I want it to be more of a party than a reception.

altjhough I have never been there, i hear alot abot Colby Byron Barn in Grayslake

Independence Grove is also GORGOUS beyond belief..I think the reception would be indoor but it still has a super nature feel to it..

I looked into the Byron Colby Barn - it is awesome!  It is booked every Saturday through next year though :( And the rental fee is a bit high.  I am having an outdoor wedding and reception at the Gardens of Woodstock in Woodstock, IL.  It is a botanical garden and nursery that also hosts weddings.  We are having our reception in the nursery area and setting up a reception tent.  So far they have been very accomodating. Good luck!

Is there any way you could narrow the area in which you are looking?  Every county in the Chicagoland area has beautiful outdoor ceremony options.  Are you looking to have your reception outside as well?

Vehe Barn in Deer Park has an extremely rustic feel..........http://timtabstudios.com/blog/?tag=vehe-barn     There is an art gallery in Harvard that also is a blank slate, and is literally at the end of the rail line for easy transportation for guests from the city.........http://www.starlinefactory.com/

As you can see, just those two examples seem to be what you are looking for, but are very different in location.
