I suck at saving money.

I am wayyyy too into convenience.  I keep having nightmares that the few things I'm DIY'ing never get done....favors, place cards, table numbers.

I think I'm crazy!

Uh no, I'm the same. Sometimes it's worth the money to avoid the headaches. ;)

All I keep thinking about is that if I had/have someone do it for me it will look way nicer.  Sure, I could make my own monogram or whatever, but if I hire someone to do it it will look nicer and exactly how I want.  I'm beginning to think that I'm going to skip the DIY invites...

I did a good # of DIY projects- pomanders, invitations, place cards, table numbers, programs, calligraphy. Overall, everything turned out well but it was A LOT of work and a lot of stress. If you are crafty and really enjoy that kind of stuff, I think it's worth it but otherwise you are better off having someone else do it. I really did most of it myself because I enjoyed it- in the end, I'm not sure it really saved that much money with what I spent on supplies.
