Flower Petals -- How much do I need?!

For those of you that did flower petal aisles, how many pounds did you need, and what coverage did that give you?How many pounds are needed for a petal toss?

    clearly, i haven't done it yet, BUT watanabe told me that for a decent lined aisle plus some for decorations on the tables... i should get 10lbs. no idea how accurate that is, though :)

    W had 6 gallon size bags of rose petals and 1000 white orchid heads and it looked amazing.. I think it cost us 150 dollars??? that was enough to cover the whole aisle (couldn't see grass) and have petal toss.. each gallon petals was 15 dollars and the orchid head was 75 dollars.. it'd be super cheap if you just did the roses. We used TGIS flower
