Columbus Caterers

We are looking for a caterer for our wedding next September at North Bank (plated dinner), and after looking at the list of approved venders that North Bank gave us, we narrowed it down to Cameron Mitchell and Shane's Gourmet Catering.  Does anyone have any insight on either of these?  Also, is there a better caterer that North Bank will let us have?  We want good food and service (along with nice linens, etc.) but want to keep the price reasonable.  Thanks!

Is Nicole's Cafe and Catering on the list? She is awesome and not expensive. Very easy to work with. The only thing I know about Shanes is a couple people from work have had their food and it is good. Good luck!

You can book whatever caterer you want there, but you just can't use a bartender that isn't on their approved list. We used Boardwalk Catering at NBP which is not on their list, but their prices and food cannot be beat. We used a bartender from Made From Scratch because they were on the list.

We met with Shane's Gourmet when we were looking for caterers and were VERY impressed.  They were out of our price range but the food was delish!!

Our daughter used Shanes over a year ago and they were very, very good.  We found them to be reasonable from the angle that they did not nickle and dime us to death.  The food was excellent and offered some really unusual choices.  We worked with Jody (not sure if she's still there), and she had cost saving and planning ideas for us that definitely reflected her years of experience.

You really can't go wrong with Cameron Mitchells. We booked them for our reception. They have done so many weddings its like a well oiled machine. Also, a few girls I work with are CM servers part time for weddings and they said it is great quality and get many many compliments on the service. Also, they box up the extra food and let you take it home...not sure if all caterers do that...
