I thought I'd posted this earlier... but either the Knot ate it or I was in a cold medication infused haze...
The first anniversary, in terms of traditional gifts, is the paper anniversary. My husband and I decided that we'd buy each other a piece of art that somehow tied into the gift tradition each year (so, year one we bought a watercolour, year two we bought a cotton canvas bus stop scroll, I haven't figured out year three yet).
