Does anyone else get bothered by the fact that the Alabama board rarely has any posts, and when there is one it usually consists of something that could be answered in Google?  (i.e. "photographer in Montgomery, venue in Mobile")

    YES! I don't generally even come to the board except maybe once a week because of that. Glad there are others around! And you are nearby me. :)

    I'm not actually engaged yet,  however my boyfriend and I have had to set a date due to the fact that he has to put in his vacation a year early.
    So, our tentative date is September 10, 2010. Other than that, I don't really have any other information, just ideas.

    I totally agree though. This board isn't very lively. I've had questions about things before, but I normally don't post on this board because I don't really get feedback.

    I'm glad things are picking up!!

    Favorite thing about wedding planning: I dunno, I've been enjoying narrowing down all the details so far. What I haven't enjoyed? Aldridge Botanical, who I originally was going to book for both ceremony and reception, gave me one quote in writing, then they tried to change it when I was ready to put down the deposit! Additionally, my fiance (What does the FI stand for? Is it just short for fiance or does it mean something else?) and his mother are no longer on speaking terms and she's not invited... so things are going to possibly be dramatic from the get go since the rest of her family is attending...
