Huntsville Museum of Art and Hunstville Botanical Gardens...

It's me again! :-)  Does anyone have or know of where I can find some additional pictures of these 2 locations (maybe you got married there and you are willing to let me snoop around in your wedding pics?)  I really like what I see on their websites, but I'd love to see more.  This long distance planning thing is TOUGH!  Thanks everyone!

I don't have any photos of these places personally, but I did find a few photography blog links.

I hope that's a little bit helpful until the other girls come along with their own photos. :)

I'm sorry. The only pics I have are of the RoundHouse and EarlyWorks but I got those by e-mailing the ladies who are the contacts if you want to rent the place for the wedding.

    Oh girl,
Depending on what time of year you decide to have your wedding, both of these places are gorgeous. The Botanical Gardens during their butterfly season is amazing. Spring when the dogwoods are blooming is amazing. They actually have an extremely old dogwood that is stunning when in bloom. The Museum of Art is also beautiful. The building its in now was actually not built very long ago. Its located in a magnificent Big Spring that's located in our downtown area. The spring has a lake/pond with a park planted with dogwoods(I think) all around it. A big red bridge connects over the pond from the side of the park where the museum is located to the side where our famous Von Braun Center and Embassy suites are. There is a gazebo located behind the museum and accross from the Hilton. They allow you to have your ceremony there also. During the winter they dress all of the trees around the park with white lights. So even in fall and winter, it's still a magnificent place. The wonderful thing about Huntsville is that we are big enough to offer a lot of things, but small enough that we still have that close-knit small town feeling. My grandfather, and great-grandfather both owned grocery stores on the downtown square. Almost all of my family went to Huntsville High, so much that my aunt and uncle taught school there. I couldn't get away with anything in school cause everyone knew my family or taught them. So, I just wanted to give you an idea of a little bit of life in the South. Actually, both of these places are on  the top of my list. You might also like the Burritt Museum. They are famous for there weddings around here. It's literally an old southern home built on the very top of Monte Sano mountain, overlooking the entire city. It would make you feel like a real Southern Bell. Even if you don't choose them, you should really check it out while you are here. If you need any help just ask. I'll do my best to get you what info you need.

    Sincerely,
    Bekah (soon to be) Bare

Both places are beautiful! Here's what I know - the Museum is under construction and scheduled to be complete later this year. Sounds like there's going to be some great new rooms with a  beautiful view! Botanical Garden is beautiful. The room they have is called the Arbor Room - beautiful - but it's not real big.

    I wish I had pics to share....sorry!

Hey, I know it's been a while, but I found a link someone had posted about their wedding at the Botanical Gardens if you're still interested. Here are their pictures:
