Looking for a rustic, outdoor venue in Alabama and Georgia. Suggestions?

Hey All!

For the past couple of months I've been browsing the internet looking for possible venues for my wedding (sometime in the Fall of 2014 or early 2015).  

I'm looking for a rustic, outdoor setting--anywhere in Georgia or Alabama--with the option of an indoor setting nearby in case it rains.  A barn is ideal (it's the new thing), but other ideas work as well.  A tree-lined lane, an open meadow, a state park or summer camp... you get the idea!  Budget is extremely low (no more than $6,000!), so options are slightly limited.  And the venue should be big enough to see a max of 125 people.

I've researched places like The Densmore Farm, Vinewood Events, Camp Kiwanis, Crooked Pines Farm... but I'm also looking for places that might not yet have become popular enough to be posted on the internet.  Many people hear of venues simply by word of mouth.

Have you looked at Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama? I know they do a lot of weddings there.

You should check out The Barn at High Point Farms in Flinestone, GA. The barn has a great atmosphere and you can have the wedding under trees, in a field or in the barn if it rains. Plus the owner is so nice!

Landmark Park in Dothan, AL has what they consider an "activity" barn for rental, as well as a gazebo and an old church. It's a lovely place, and if it hadn't been booked throughout the month I wanted, I would have put down a deposit.

I got married at Creekside Plantation in historic Mooresville, Alabama in September of 2012 and it is perfect! They have a pavilion that they have built pnosite to accomodate rainy and cold weather! The people are the most amazing ones to work with!

The Barn at High points is an excellent spot ( like a previous post said)  And check out Terrapin Creek Lodge in Piedmont :
