Just wanted to send out a warning to everyone. I'm from Auburn and purchased my wedding dress and all six of my bridesmaid dresses from Diane's Formal Affair in Jasper, AL. They called when my dress came in and when the bridesmaid dresses came in. Everything was great until my Matron of Honor tried on her dress. It was super tight in the chest area and really uncomfortable but fit great everywhere else. So, my mom brought her to a alterations guy in Auburn at it turns out that the reason it was really tight was because it was a used dress. The alterations guy turned the dress inside out and showed them the seam and where the dress had already been altered to fit someone else. He told my mom that bridal stores are notorious for reselling used dresses at full price. My mom was extremely unhappy and called Diane's and no one there would own up to it...surprise, surprise. So, I just wanted everyone to know to check their dresses before leaving Diane's.
