Lake Guntersville STate Park

Has anyone used Lake Guntersville STate Park to get married?It looks really pretty!!

    It's gorgeous, but they book up to two years in advance. That was the reason we sought a different location. The other thing about the state park is that they offer a couple of different venue rooms so you could potentially be sharing the lodge with another wedding party. Awesome if you will have alcohol at a wedding though, because guests can stay on site. Another venue to check into while looking is Gunters Landing. It's pretty as well, but nothing like the state park.

    It is beautiful but they require you to purchase all your food through them.  And honestly the food is not very good, and they charge per person which includes food.  I would have booked them for my wedding if we could have used an outside caterer.
