Vendor Review

Hey ladies! My wedding was this past weekend (oct 2) in Little Rock. Everything went so well. The weather was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for a wedding.

Now on to the reviews of my vendors..

Venue-The Manor House, Little Rock (http://littlerockmanorhouse.com/Index.html)
I absolutely love this place. It's an old house that has so much character. We got married in the English Gardens in the backyard and had the reception outside also. The owner, Anne, is so helpful. She has lots of odds and ends laying around the house that we were able to use. For example, she has a basement full of vases left over from other weddings. She let us borrow them and anything else that we found.

Photographer-Mauldin Photography, Newport (http://www.mauldinphotography.com/)
I could not explain in this post how much I love Cheryl Mauldin's photos. She has so much talent. We booked her about two years ago when we first got engaged. We actually picked our wedding date around when Cheryl was available. We had our engagement pictures made last november in Memphis with her, and they were amazing. We ended up having so much extra time scheduled on saturday to do pictures that we actually all had time to take a break and just relax. Another plus with Cheryl is that she will travel anywhere, literally anywhere. I know this summer she had a few weddings in Florida and she's done engagement pictures in Boston. She's just so amazing!!

Pies-Hunka Pie, North Little Rock (http://hunkapie.com/1.html)
We decided we didn't want to do cake, and decided to do pies instead. I am so glad we decided to do pies. Chris at Hunka Pies did such a great job. His pies are so great. Everyone loved them. We had 8 different pies and 2 cheesecakes. I loved that we had so many different flavors to choose from. That was the best part.

Dress-Low's Bridal, Brinkley
Lows was one of the only places that i went to look for a dress. I went to david's in memphis early on in the engagement. However they were lacking quite a bit in the customer service department. So Low's was my next step. I started out on the Sale floor and did not leave that floor. I found my dress within the first 3 dresses i tried on. Since low's doesn't do alterations in house, they gave me a list of people in Little Rock who they reccommend. I went to Connie at Natural Steps. She was great. I would definitely reccommend her.

When my photographer posts the link to our pictures I will let all of you ladies see!
