Newly engaged

Hi! I am newly engaged and in Delaware. We have "set" our date to be May 11th 2013. We live in the Milford area but are looking to be married in the Delaware City area or New Castle. Any suggestions would be great...I do not have an exact number or people we are planning on yet but I would estimate 200 or so. I do plan on trying to do a lot of it myself and buy nicely used items to keep prices down and stay on budget.

I'm getting married in May at the same church where my mother was married and my grandma is a member. Our reception is going to be at Belvedere Fire Hall which is located in Wilmington, it's really nice and not too expensive.

My reception was in New Castle, at the Clarion Belle Hotel... and It was AWESOME.  Food was amazing, everyone there was great.  Everyone else had a fab time also.  Ginny is the person you want to talk to, and she's great.  She definitely went above and beyond for us.

We had a 190 max guest list, and 165 showed up.  There is definitely space for 200 people in the big ball room, and the packages at the Clarion are really reasonable.
