Just in case this venue ever dares to open it's doors again this fall, I wanted to post a warning about these shady jerks.
Earlier this summer I wanted to have a reception venue in Eagle, and inquired with this venue. I thought they were perfect and was almost about to give them my deposit when my caterer got into an unusual discussion with the lady who used to be their coordinator.
She got a bad feeling about the discussion, and warned me off the venue. Thank GOD for that. Several weeks later, the owners of the venue had run down several local businesses into bankruptcy, then skipped town with 8 brides' deposits for this venue!!! Seriously!
And from what I've heard, they havn't officially closed doors on Century Hall. Which means they might come back to town and try to host weddings again. Just. Plain. Evil.
