I'm in need of help! I have no idea where to look for a cake decorator in the Carroll area. Right now, the only place I know of is Hyvee....

    I can't guarantee that she will travel to Carroll, but our cake decorator is fantastic, and might be willing to work with you even with the traveling. Andre Rouse rousead@hotmail.com

    My parents actually live in Carroll and I can find out if they know of anyone.  I know there are some in Jefferson as well (that is where I am from!), but I can't for the life of me remember her name.  I will find out and let you know!

    I just sent my FMIL an email. They live in the Carroll area, maybe she can suggest someone, I will let you know if I can be of any help!

    The Carroll lady;s name is Marlene Halbrel and the one from Jefferson is Margaret Brandt.  GL!

    We used Heather Friedrichsen (Cake Me I'm Yours) out of Perry for our cakes and I would highly, highly recommend her!  She traveled to Des Moines to deliver our cakes so I'm sure she'd travel to Carroll also.  The website is http://cakemeimyours.com and her contact info is #(515) 465-2253 and email is Heather@cakemeimyours.com.  Here's some pictures of our cakes or if it doesn't work (http://tinypic.com/r/b4vkhl/4) , and they were absolutely yummy!!![IMG]http://i33.tinypic.com/b4vkhl.jpg[/IMG]

    I heard back from my FMIL. She said in Sac City there is Sue Riecke. That is only a 30-40 min drive from Carroll. She said there is also someone in Wall Lake and Roselle. She thought the lady from Roselle was actually the most popular in the Carroll area. She was going to email me again with names. If you don't have luck with the post above (lot's of great places to start there), page me and I can send you the other names when she gets them to me. GL

    FMIL emailed me again and just to 2nd pp, Marlene Haberl is who she said was recommended to her. 712-792-3003, she is out of Roseville.
