Rehearsal Dinner Venues

It's coming down to the wire, and I was just wondering where some of you are holding your rh dinners. We were going to do it at the future in laws in Altoona, but then decided it might be nice to do it more in the Des Mones/Urbandale/Johnston area, since that's where the hotel we are using is located.

We are looking for something casual and low budget, where we can bring our own food.

What is everyone else doing, or have any ideas for me?

    We are going to have it at his grandmas place.  She has a pond with a dock that goes out on it.  The family has a lot of "dock parties."  A friend butchered an old cow of his that was going to die anyways and gave us all of the meet for part of a wedding present, so we are going to put burgers on the grill and roast a few hot dogs and smores over the fire.  Nothing fancy or formal, just something fun a and relaxing for everybody helping us out with our big day.
