Looking for ceremony location ideas in Cedar Rapids, IA!! :D

My fiance and I moved to Cedar Rapids to go to school a year ago and LOVE living here. We are getting married on 07/13/13 and are looking for cool/modern locations outside of the traditional church idea. We don't mind the idea of it being outdoors but we would prefer not to have to worry about the weather.

I would try the other Iowa Board, they are closer to your area and might know a few more places!!!

I am in the same fix. I'm deciding on a location in/around Cedar Rapids. Have you looked at the two lodges at Squaw Creek? Thats what I am leaning towards. BTW this board is much more active and friendly than the other Iowa board so I lurk here.

I have a friend getting married at a newer hotel in CR. I think it's the Kirkwood center. I'm pretty sure she even said they do all of the reception stuff for them including catering and decorations...Which could be a pro or con...

We are having both the ceremony and reception at the Amana Golf Course. They are extremely helpful and the location is AMAZING! They have both a small old church(120 poeple) and then an option for an outdoor wedding.
