Looking For a Barn in Eastern Iowa

I'm looking for a reasonably priced Barn in good enough condition to have a wedding and reception in eastern Iowa. Every barn I have found is either outragiously priced, or no longer renting. Any suggestions would be SO helpful!!

Thanks!!

Check out Sutliff Cider Company in Lisbon, IA. It's beautiful, kind of a hidden gem. They are refinishing another barn to accomodate about 300 people this August. It's $500 to rent 1/2 the facility and $1000 for the whole facility.

Fasthalle barn in Amana would be a good option. It's around $700. It's booked up for this summer though.

If you want chandeleirs, let me know. I bought 10 for my wedding because no where in the area rents them (unless you want tiny ones that measure 1ft x 1ft).

    Happy Planning!

I am getting married in June at Stonehaven Barn in DeSoto, Iowa. It seems a little pricey at first, but you get the entire grounds, including a 3 bedroom house, from Thursday-Sunday with your rental. There are two large stainless steel grills out there, a beautiful barn, fire pit and playground area. You can bring your own food or caterer, which is much less expensive especailly if you are having a small wedding like mine. It is simply a beautiful venue! www.stonehavenbarn.com
