Locations for wedding party pictures between Indianola and West Des Moines

We are looking for a location to take outdoor pictures between the ceremony and reception with the wedding party.  Any good suggestions for places that would provide a pretty background?

    I'm not sure where in West Des Moines you are headed, but I have seen several people take wedding photos by the lake/pond at Jordan Creek Mall.

    Where exactly in West Des Moines? My suggestions would be Raccoon River Park - there's a large lake and lots of trees. It is pretty close to I-35 in case that's important to you. Otherwise, I would say Valley Junction! I've seen lots of cute pictures there too.

    These are great suggestions!  

    Our reception is at the Sheraton off of University in West Des Moines, but we have an hour for outdoor pictures so any of those would be good.  Thanks!
