Grand march - announcing ushers but not PAs?

I guess I have seen ushers announced at most weddings before, but I have two bridal attendants that I would like to have announced as well, because they are definitely a part of the day.... has anyone done this or seen it done?  Like if the DJ said "Usher and attendant Chad and Lindsay L****"

Also, if you have a vendetta against personal attendants, no need to respond :)  Not looking for that kind of comment today!

TIA!!

I was thinking the same thing...seems so odd to announce the ushers and not the PA's..I have 3 (one for me and one for each of my children to help them throughout the day)...hmm I might have to change something,

I was just in a wedding as a PA and was announced in the grand march.  I felt kind of out of place.  All the bridesmaids wore matching dresses and the groomsmen and ushers had tuxes.  Then the 4 of us PA's walk out in our unmatched dresses.  I felt pretty stinking uncomfortable.  But that's my opinion.  Your PA might feel different.

I was thinking about doing this but also not sure how to approach it. I only have one PA and four ushers. So I don't know how to have it announced without sounding or looking funny. Or like the PP said, I don't want her to feel really out of place.

When I was a PA in a wedding I was announced during the grand march.  I had H escort me.  At our wedding we had 2 PAs (please dont flame me either, one of them asked me to be one lol)  I had one escorted by her hubby and the other escorted by the 2 ushers.

Kaylas16: How did you have the DJ announce them? Like did he say ushers and PA or something else?

I believe we just had them say their names.  I dont think we gave them titles.  But to be honest I cant remember! But I am pretty positive we didnt say their "titles".
