Wedding cake from Costco or Sam's Club

Hello!

Has anyone here had a wedding cake done by Sam's Club or Costco? My fiance and I were going to do sheet cakes from a local bakery but are now considering Sams or Costco. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Ditto PP.  I had cake from Costco for a work party and it was great!

For another lower price option check out Key's Cafe.  They have awesome cake!

I really like costco cakes. I've never had one at a wedding, but they are always delicious at family parties. Another cheaper bakery is Grandma's in White Bear. We got a sheet cake from them plus a really little tiered cake for cutting.

Costco tends to win out over Sam's Club in most of what I've heard. I don't believe they do tierd cakes, but I know a lot of people that got a small tierd cake elsewhere and then did some sheet cakes from Costco.

I did individual cakes on each table (8 or 10 inch round cakes) from Sam's Club for my reception.  I think they were $12.50/cake.  They were plain white frosting, and then I had extra gerbera daisies from my florist on each cake.   We had lots of leftover cake, but it was still much cheaper than a tiered cake.  Everyone was saying how good the cake was.

We had a Costco sheet cake at our wedding to supplement our tiered cake.  They have different filling options, are super delicious, and for the price really can't be beat.  It was $16.99 for a 1/2 sheet cake (48 slices).
