Dance lessons!

Is or did anyone take dance lessons for their wedding?

We just signed up for a community group class that starts mid April and goes for 6 weeks. We are also thinking about doing private lessons about 1 1/2 months out.

Where are/did you take lessons?
Did you like them/think it helped?
Did you take group lessons or private lessons or both?

    We took lessons at Dancers Studio and loved it!  Full review in bio.
    We had 4 private lessons and also did a few group classes.  Well worth it.

    What is the typical cost of something like that? Private vs. group?

    FI and I definitely need to take some sort of class, and while private would be ideal, I'm not sure if it's affordable.

    Ours was several hundred dollars.  That included 4 private lessons (plus one 30 minute free introductory) and free group lessons during the month/s that you take the lessons.  We took one lesson every other week, so we got 2 months of free dance lessons, which were very fun.  The private lessons included working one on one with an instructor who choregraphed our whole dance for us. 

    We thought of them as date nights.
