tips for vendors

so i am starting to get envelopes ready for tips. my reception is at the profile event center, and food, alcohol, decor and dj are all included. they charge a 18% gratuity. do i still need to individually tip the dj, cake person bartenders? i didn't think of tips until last week and now don't know who all gets a tip! help!

    I don't know the rules when they are all included.  We did tip the bartenders seperately, when we paid the bar tab at the end of the night, if that helps.

    We are also using PEC and at the end of the questionnaire on their website, under "Other Important Information," it explicitly states that DJ services are not service charged or sales taxed.  So, it sounds like you tip the DJ at your discretion, but everything else should be covered through the service charge.  Having said that, I doubt anyone in this industry would turn away extra money.  ;)
