Photo location

I'm trying to find a good location for photos on my wedding day. We are doing pictures before the wedding and would like to go somewhere away from the church. I would like for them to look kind of outdoorsy and nature inspired. It will be a late October wedding. Any suggestions in the Kansas City, MO area?

    depending on the part of town you are in here are some suggestions:

    The plaza/art museum 
    Park College/English landing park
    Powell gardens
    Any park in general the leaves should be beautiful

    Swope Park Memorial is absolutely beautiful.  That's where we got our engagement pictures done.  It's my favorite place to just sit and overlook the zoo.  It's up really high on a hill, (It's off of a golf course) and it overlooks the Africa part of the KC zoo.  There's a big marble Memorial with pillars and everything! Absolutely beautiful!  It's kindof a hidden place, but once you find it, I'm positive you'll love it.
